HBIU Public Research Library

The public research library gives students and visitors another place to locate reference materials and support independent academic research.

Research beyond the classroom

HBIU encourages students to use credible academic sources, library resources, scholarly databases, books, journals, and approved digital materials when completing coursework and research.

The public HBIU library is separate from the course-specific Digital Library inside Student 360. Student 360 provides textbooks and resources connected to enrolled courses, while the public library supports broader research and exploration.

Research responsibility

Students should evaluate sources for authority, relevance, accuracy, currency, and scholarly quality. Course instructions may require specific source types, citation styles, peer-reviewed literature, or minimum numbers of scholarly references.

HBIU students are expected to follow academic-integrity standards when using library materials, online sources, and AI-assisted research tools.
