The Bachelor of Arts in Faith-Based Data Analytics with a specialization in Data-Driven Decision Making is a rigorous academic program designed to integrate quantitative proficiency with ethical stewardship and servant leadership. Students are trained to harness complex datasets to solve organizational challenges, ensuring that technological application remains aligned with institutional values and community impact. The curriculum bridges the gap between technical data mastery and the nuanced requirements of mission-oriented organizations.

Throughout this program, learners explore statistical modeling, data visualization, database management, and predictive analytics through the lens of social responsibility. By emphasizing both technical competence and ethical integrity, the degree equips graduates to act as informed stewards of information who can guide organizational strategy in an increasingly data-reliant world.

The Bachelor of Arts in Faith-Based Data Analytics combines a foundational general education curriculum with a comprehensive study of data science theory, analytical behavioral modeling, human-centric information systems, ethical governance, advanced research methodologies, crisis-oriented data awareness, data-driven referral systems, strategic program development, and community-based support structures.

Florida's current standard establishes a minimum of 120 semester credits for a bachelor's degree and at least 30 general-education credits for a Bachelor of Arts. This curriculum exceeds the general-education minimum.

Admission Requirements

Admission and entry requirements

Applicants must provide official transcripts from an accredited secondary institution demonstrating the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Prospective students are required to submit an essay reflecting on their commitment to ethical service, personal character development, and their intent to serve community-focused organizations. Proficiency in algebra is highly encouraged to ensure success in the foundational quantitative courses of the program. Senior Capstone Project The Senior Capstone Project serves as the culminating academic experience, requiring students to synthesize their technical data analytics skills with their commitment to institutional stewardship. Students are expected to partner with a real-world, faith-based or nonprofit organization to identify a genuine operational challenge, collect relevant data, and propose a strategy rooted in ethical reasoning and organizational mission effectiveness. This project represents 4 credit hours of the degree and requires a comprehensive final report and presentation. Beyond technical demonstration, the capstone provides a platform for students to reflect on the intersection of their professional data practice and their spiritual formation. The project deliverables must explicitly address how the proposed data-driven solution honors the integrity of the organization’s mission, demonstrates transparent stewardship of resources, and embodies the principles of servant leadership. Success is measured not only by analytical rigor but by the student's ability to articulate how their work fosters long-term institutional health and community impact.
